Finally, a Soil Applied Product for Managing Mites and Caterpillars

For years tree health practicioners have been faced with serious pests like gypsy moth, tent caterpillars, and spider mites armed only with spray treatments. Lepitect was developed by RTSA to this gap in the PHC toolbox. Now, for the first time in the industry, a new tool is available that allows treatment of these pests via soil injection.

Not only does it have impressive data for control against a wide variety of common tree pests, it is fast acting too. Lepitect gets to work in as little as 1-3 days on smaller trees and within a week or so on larger trees. This allows you to use this tool as a rescue, or "just-in-time" treatment in situations traditional soil applied products would be too late.
