Science of Cambistat

Cambistat is the newest formulation of ingredients that contains the molecule paclobutrazol. This formulation is designed to be applied to the soil at the base of the tree where it attaches to soil particles and is available to the tree for at least 3 years. Once applied, Cambistat moves into the water transport vessels where it is carried to the sub-apical meristem, which is located at the base of the buds throughout the crown of the tree. Cambistat produces effects in trees by disrupting portions of the isoprenoid pathway in the subapical meristems.
