Application of Cambistat can be accomplished using either of two
procedures basal drench or soil injection. Different tree species
have various sensitivities to Cambistat. There are six different
dosage categories and every listed tree species belongs in one of
them. Dosage is also determined by the size of the tree which is
measured by diameter at breast height (DBH). Both categories and
DBH dosages are listed on the RTSA Rate Chart. Additional dosage
considerations such as crown fullness and multiple trunks are needed
for proper regulation. Thorough understanding of application is
